Basement Finishing in Bucks county,PA
We Converted basement into to a Family room with a Custom Bar Area,
Gym and Utility / Storage room.
To start the Process We Designed Entire space in 3D to show our clients what the space could potentially look like prior to any renovations being done.
After Design approval were then Prepared all Pre construction Documents Cost Plans Etc.
This is our Preliminary planning process.
Starting the Renovations after everything is 100% figured out and all party's are on the same page.
We we used a commercial grade dehumidifier to remove any existing moisture from foundation and Structure.
We first cleaned all foundation walls then treated the foundation walls a drylok water proofing sealer roll on membrane.
We framed entire basement with steel studs we added wood lumber were needs in window and or door openings for structural strength as needed a preventive measure with any moisture issues.
We moved oil tank into the storage space to open up the family room.
We installed all new wiring/receptacle and lighting circuits to occupy the project to code.
We Upgraded and installed new electrical panel for entire house.
We installed new plumbing water and waste lines for the bar area.
We moved all the piping attached to the ceiling and rerouted existing plumbing up into the ceiling cavities to prepare for drywall ceiling to be installed.
We used a rock wool R 15 insulation in all exterior walls with 6 mill plastic to serve as a vapor/Moisture barrier tone proactive with any moisture issues.
We Install Carrara Marble countertops over a Kraft maid Navy cabinetry for the lower bar.
We Custom Built an upper L Shaped Bar top out of Red Oak stained/finished with pecan stain and top coated it with a bar top high gloss epoxy for a supreme finish.
We built a Custom wall insert with solid RedOak for a showcase bar bottle shelf.
on both sides we installed craft maid wall cabinetry recessed in the wall to create a flush appearance.
Custom shelving and cabinetry is illuminated with LED lighting for a nice accent ambiance.
The entrance of both Gym and storage rooms are greeted by a double Craftsmen style barn doors.
The barn doors were Painted Navy to match the custom cabinetry.
We did a Custom Stairs case.
The Stairs we Re-fastened the stair treads and risers to create a solid foundation.
We capped the start tread with Red Oak stained and finished to match the wood Bar top.
The stair risers are capped with pre primed 1x and painted white for a nice contrast finish.
We used a Sherwin Williams Emerald acrylic enamel finish paint for all walls and ceilings.
We used a 9" LVP water proof floating Plank flooring. "Grey finish"
